• Remember to ask for history of renal disease, and allergies.
• Remember to explain everything to the patient: what the drug is, why you’re giving it, how to take it, and potential side effects. This should be a shared decision making process.
• A book will be provided for the dosages, but make sure to explain to the patient each step you are taking.
